I’ve never met a leader who didn’t wonder from time to time if they were truly “good enough” to lead. I know I certainly have.
Questioning is part of the journey. It shows that you are open to self-reflection as well as ongoing feedback from others. True leadership isn’t about achieving perfection — it’s about showing up authentically and trying to be better than today.
I wrote Suited for Leadership after years of encouragement from impactful people in my life. I wanted an opportunity to share some of my lifelong lessons as well as some of my relatable fears and vulnerabilities.
This book will prompt you to embrace your unique quirks and qualities. You’ll discover that being a successful leader starts with being yourself — authentic and clear about your values. You’ll find out why the best leaders surround themselves with individuals who inspire and challenge them, and why it matters to express and receive gratitude.
Suited for Leadership will teach you the importance of being a confident, clear, and compelling communicator in all situations. Leadership is about making a difference, and that comes through the relationships you build and the way you inspire others to take action.
